One of our favorite times of the day!

Our guests are constantly raving about the Wine and Cheese that we serve from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.  It's the perfect time to mingle with other guests or have a quiet moment alone with your travel companion on the veranda or in the library. The gourmet cheeses are predominately from the Wine Guild next door which provides us with an excellent selection of exotic cheeses.

Another great band comes to town!

200 South Street Inn is such a popular place to stay when bands come into town to play at the Pavilion or at The Jefferson. Crosby, Stills and Nash, Wilco, Daughtry, Old Crow Medicine Show and Pretty Lights are just a few of the headliners coming to the Pavilion this summer. Park your car here when you check in, walk to the Downtown Pedestrian Mall two blocks away to one of  many restaurants for dinner then sashay into the venue, both located on the Mall at showtime! We just couldn't have a better location - it's that simple.

The baby birds are ready to fly!

An annual event at 200 South Street Inn is birds nesting in our signature hanging baskets on our veranda. From the look of the baby birds this morning, it seems like they won't be here for long!

LOOK3 - Photo Festival Weekend

Charlottesville is full of photographers, exhibitions, interviews, outdoor projections at the Pavilion and workshops - all buzzing around the Downtown Mall, just steps outside our door.  There are large photographs hanging from the trees all around the mall - quite a sight to see!

REDUCED RATES ARE HERE TO STAY!

Our guests loved our reduced weekday rates so much in the beginning of April that we have decided to extend them through the spring!  We have enjoyed chatting with people traveling on business, coming to tour Monticello, visiting with High School students hoping to attend The University of Virginia, catching a concert at the Jefferson or taking a wine tour at one of the many vineyards in the area. There are so many reasons to visit Charlottesville!
